In observance of Cesar E. Chavez Day on Monday, March 30, 2026, Big Blue Bus Customer Service and Blue: The Transit Store will be closed. Normal hours of operation for Blue: The Transit Store will resume Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Big Blue Bus will operate a regular weekday schedule on Monday, March 30, 2026, with the following exceptions:
Paul Revere Middle School:
Route 14 service to/from Paul Revere Middle School will be canceled March 30 - April 3, 2026 due to their Spring Break closure.
Palisades Charter High School:
Route 9 Express trips to/from Palisades Charter High School will be canceled March 30 - April 3, 2026 due to their Spring Break closure.
The Following Routes to and from UCLA will run Modified Service on Friday, March 27 due to UCLA's Observance of Cesar Chavez Day:
Hilgard Terminal will be closed. Routes 1, 2, and 8: Serve C.E.Y./P2 Garage. See below for alternate boarding locations.
To UCLA:
Due to the closure of Hilgard Terminal, Routes 1, 2, and 8 will end service at C.E.Y./P2 Garage.
The following stops will be missed:
- NB Westwood Blvd. at Le Conte Ave.
- EB Le Conte Ave. at Tiverton Dr.
- NB Hilgard Ave. at Manning Ave. and Westholme Ave.
- Hilgard Terminal
Please use the following alternate stops:
- NB Westwood Blvd. at Weyburn Ave.
- NB Westwood Plaza at Jules Stein Eye Center
- C.E.Y./P2 Garage
To Santa Monica:
Due to the closure of Hilgard Terminal, service on Routes 1, 2, and 8 will begin at C.E.Y./P2 Garage.
Please use the following alternate stops:
- SB Hilgard Ave. at Westholme Ave.
- C.E.Y./P2 Garage
