Routes 1,3, 14, and 18 will be on detour in Venice 5/17

Routes 1, 3, 14, and 18 will be on detour on Sunday, May 17, beginning at 4:30 a.m. until approximately 2:30 p.m., due to the Venice Beach Half Marathon.

Route 1

To UCLA

The following stops will be missed: 

  • WB Grand Blvd. at Riviera 
  • NB Main St. at Market St., Westminster Ave., Abbot Kinney Blvd., Sunset Ave., Rose Ave., and Marine St.

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • NB Main St. at Hill St.
  • EB Marine St. at Main St. (temporary stop)

To Venice

The following stops will be missed: 

  • SB Main St. at Ocean Park Blvd., Hill St., Marine St., Rose Ave., Sunset Ave., Brooks Ave., Westminster Ave., and Venice Way.
  • WB Grand Blvd. at Riviera 

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • SB Main St. at Hollister Ave.
  • EB Marine St. at Main St. (temporary stop)

Route 3

To Downtown Santa Monica

Route 3 will not operate on Lincoln Blvd. between Washington Blvd. and Venice Blvd.

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • SB Lincoln Blvd. at Washington Blvd.
  • NB Lincoln Blvd. at Superba Ave.

Note: To continue north to Downtown Santa Monica please disembark at SB Lincoln Blvd. at Washington Blvd. then walk to the temporary stop at NB Lincoln Blvd. at Superba Ave. before the intersection.

To Aviation Station/LAX

Route 3 will not operate on Lincoln Blvd. between Venice Blvd. and Washington Blvd.

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • NB Lincoln Blvd. at Superba Ave.
  • SB Lincoln Blvd. at Washington Blvd.

Note: To continue south to LAX/Aviation Station please disembark at NB Lincoln Blvd. at Superba Ave. then walk to the temporary stop at SB Lincoln Blvd. at Washington Blvd. after the intersection.

Route 14

To Brentwood

Route 14 will not operate on Centinela Ave. between Pacific Ave. and Venice Blvd.

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • SB Centinela Ave. at Barbara Ave.
  • NB Centinela Ave. at Charnock Rd.

Note: To continue north to Brentwood please disembark at SB Centinela Ave. and Barbara Ave. then walk to the temporary stop at NB Centinela Ave. at Charnock Rd. after the intersection.

To Culver City Transit Center

Route 14 will not operate on Centinela Ave. between Venice Blvd. and Pacific Ave.

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • NB Centinela Ave. at Charnock Rd.
  • SB Centinela Ave. at Barbara Ave.

Note: To continue south to Culver City Transit Center please disembark at NB Centinela Ave. at Charnock Rd. then walk to the temporary stop at SB Centinela Ave. at Barbara Ave. before the intersection. 

Route 18

To UCLA

Service will begin on 7th Ave. at Broadway St.; No service south of Broadway St..

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • NB 7th Ave. at Broadway St.

To Marina del Rey

Service will end on 7th Ave. at Broadway St.; No service south of Broadway St.  

Please use the following alternate stops: 

  • EB Rose Ave. at 6th Ave.
  • NB 7th Ave. at Broadway St.
