Additional Passes
- BBB accepts Metro's EZ transit pass Zone Zero.
- Metro, Metrolink, and other agency passes are not accepted as valid forms of fare payment on BBB.

Transfers
Big Blue Bus Transfers
A single transfer is permitted from one Big Blue Bus to another within a two-hour (2) window, at no additional costs, when using contactless fare payments including credit/debit, digital wallet, and TAP.
Interagency Transfers
An interagency transfer (IAT) allows for paperless transfers on Big Blue Bus (BBB) and all other TAP-participating agencies. IATs are valid two and a half (2.5) hours from the time of purchase and can be used to board one (1) additional Metro Bus, Metro Rail, or most other regional bus lines*. IATs are only available for contactless fare payments including credit/debit, digital wallet, and TAP.
