In accordance with Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 26, recipients of U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) funds are required to establish Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) programs. Title 49 CFR Part §26.45 requires the recipients of federal funds, including City of Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus (BBB), to set an overall goal for DBE participation in USDOT assisted contracts.
As a direct recipient of federal funds, BBB has developed a race neutral DBE Goal of 0.87% for the period indicated. At this time, BBB would like to invite you to provide feedback and/or comment, relative to the proposed goal calculation and accomplished rationale for review and consideration.
