Departures
All trips leave from the Santa Monica College Main Campus, 1900 Pico Blvd. Departure points and times are subject to change.
The Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game trips leave from Santa Monica Civic Auditorium (1855 Main St., near Pico Blvd.).

Purchase tickets at Blue: the Transit Store & Customer Service Center, 223 Broadway (just west of the Third St. Promenade) in downtown Santa Monica.

Ticket sales begin 8/1/2010
The LA County Fair, largest in the
nation, returns to Fairplex in Pomona
each September and provides a retreat
for friends and families, just as it
has each year since 1922.The
fair's entertainment runs the gamut
from classic rock to karaoke, magicians
to hypnotists, and Chinese acrobats to
mariachis. It also features top-name
performing artists on the grandstand
stage, while maintaining its
traditional county fair attractions
including livestock, home,
hobby, woodworking and floral
exhibits.With more than 3,000
varieties of national and international
culinary delights available, the
choices are endless. The largest
carnival midway in the nation, two
kiddie carnivals, live horse racing and
the largest marketplace west of the
Mississippi all ensure an atmosphere
that is FUN for the entire family!

Getaway to Little Italy Festa in San Diego

Ticket sales begin 9/1/2010
Over 120,000 attendees will enjoy the
tantilizing smells of Italian sausage
and the glamour of the Italian culture,
music, and art throughout Little
Italy's 56 square blocks.
Enjoy not only the entertainment
provided on stage but also the vendors
displaying their wares along India
Street in what is now known as one of
the largest single-day Italian American
festivals west of the Mississippi.
You can also enjoy the chalk painting
event - Gesso Italiano with Italian-
themed creations...from renditions of
the works of the Italian masters to
Italian scenery. Public voting will be
held throughout the day for Best in
Show, Most Creative and Best
Educational Team.
We think this festival is worth a visit
and changing out Getaway day to a
SUNDAY and we think you'll enjoy the
change.

Buses will leave Santa Monica College Main Campus, parking structure at 17th St. & Pico Blvd., promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Buses will leave San Diego''s Little Italy promptly at 5:00 p.m., returning to Santa Monica approximately at 7:30 p.m. (subject to traffic conditions)

Cost:
$40 per adult or senior; $35 per child to 12 years. Pirce includes round-trip transportation at the times designated. Meals not included.
