Say goodbye to the hardhats. And hello to the party hats. Because what better way to celebrate the
end of construction and the beginning of the new downtown Santa Monica than with an all-out street party?
For starters, the rides are on us...all day long!
But if you want to get an idea of what the newly renovated downtown's going to be like from noon to
8 on June 22nd, you better think big. Think really big. Think in terms of six square blocks, four
stages of music and entertainment, thousands of people, hundreds of artists and vendors showing off
their wares and one gigantic Moon Bounce (sorry folks, kids only) in 15,000 square feet of kids' space.
Come share in the fun! Grab your children, parents, friends and neighbors and treat them to a detour
to remember.
