NEW FARES GO INTO EFFECT AUGUST 29, 2010 – TWO NEW VALUE PASSES TO BE INTRODUCED!

Beginning Sunday, August 29, 2010, the Big Blue Bus will introduce a new fare structure, which will include two new economical Passes for both occasional and frequent riders - the 13 Rides Pass, which gives you 13 rides for the price of 12, and the 30 Day Pass which lets you ride an unlimited number of times within a 30 day time period.

Both of these passes will eliminate the need to pay cash each time you board, making your ride much easier while also saving you money. Our popular Day Pass, good for both Local and Express service, will still be available as part of the fare change, and is a great value for passengers who want to ride more than twice a day.

All of our new Passes are now available for purchase at Blue: the Transit Store, and starting August 17, on our new online store, which can be accessed on our website here. Some types of Big Blue Bus fare can also be purchased at a variety of schools, libraries and commercial sites.
