BIG BLUE BUS LINE 10 CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE:
Big Blue Bus Line 10 is a "1 Zone" EXPRESS bus. The $58.00 ADULT EZpass is good for fare on any LOCAL Big Blue Bus. Line 10 is the one Big Blue Bus line that is not a local line. ADULT passengers boarding Line 10 with a valid Ezpass without a zone stamp, will be asked to pay $1.00. ADULT passengers boarding Line 10 with a "P1" through "P6" stamp on their Ezpass will not be required to pay additional fare. The "P1" stamp is the minimum that is required to avoid paying fare for ADULT riders on the Big Blue Bus Line 10. The "P1" stamp costs an additional $15.00 (i.e. a total of $73.00 for the ADULT Ezpass with a "P1" stamp).
SENIOR bus riders using the $29.00 SENIOR/DISABLED Ezpass will be asked to pay an additional $0.35 on the Line 10 Big Blue Bus if there is not a zone stamp on the Ezpass. SENIOR passengers boarding Line 10 with a "PS-1" through "PS-6" stamp on their Ezpass will not be required to pay additional fare. The "PS-1" stamp is the minimum that is required to avoid paying fare for SENIOR riders on the Big Blue Bus Line 10. The "PS-1" stamp costs an additional $7.50 (i.e. a total of $36.50 for the SENIOR Ezpass with a "PS-1" stamp).
DISABLED riders using the $29.00 SENIOR/DISABLED Ezpass do NOT need zone stamps to ride the line 10 Big Blue Bus without paying additional fare because DISABLED fare is the same on line 10 as any other Big Blue Bus.
Please note: Holding a SENIOR/DISABLED Ezpass is not proof of being senior or disabled. Please be prepared to show proof of disability as described above in addition to the SENIOR/DISABLED EZpass.
Please call Big Blue Bus at (310) 451-5444, or MTA at (800) 266-6883 with any questions regarding the EZpass and the zone stamps.
